Try out this low carb cookie! Sometimes it's nice to have a delicious cookie that won't spike your blood sugar! Don't get us wrong, we love as sugar filled cookie sometimes, but this recipe is really great for a snack or dessert to keep you feeling great!
3 tbsp sugar-free maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
3/4 cup almond flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch of salt
Preheat oven to 350. Mix wet ingredients together, then add dry. Add in chocolate chips, just eye ball it per preference! Form into cookies on a sprayed sheet pan. Bake for 12 minutes and let cool. Feel free to store in the fridge or freezer and heat up later! You can store at room temp as well.
