Red Cabbage and Apples

2 tsp Butter, Salted

1 Medium Onion, Diced

1 Head of Red Cabbage, Shredded

1/4 cup Apple Juice

2 Tbsp Red Wine Vinegar

1 Apple, Peeled & Chopped

3/4 cup Water

Ground Pepper, to taste


Saute butter and onion in pan. Add cabbage and apple, heat 5 minutes. In small bowl, combine water, apple juice, and pepper. Pour mixture over cabbage. Cover and cook over medium heat for 30 minutes.

Recipe makes 8 servings.
