Fruit & Yogurt Tart

Topping Ideas: Greek Yogurt Fruit of Choice ex. Strawberries, Blueberries, Kiwi Nuts of Choice ex. Almonds, Walnuts, Sunflower Seeds


Tart Shell Ingredients: 5 Dates 4 Tbsp Honey 2 tsp Coconut Oil 1 cup Rolled Oats 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds 1 Tbsp Ground Flaxseed 1/2 tsp Cinnamon 1/2 tsp Vanilla


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove seeds from dates and soak for about 10-15 minutes. Blend together dates, honey, and coconut oil until a paste is formed. Add in rolled oats, chia seeds, flaxseeds, cinnamon, and vanilla. Blend until a dough forms. Lightly grease a muffin pan with coconut oil and press the dough into pan forming tart shells. Recipe provides 6 tarts. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the shells are lightly browned. Remove from oven and let cool. Add toppings, as desired.


*Hint* You can also cook the tart shell dough in a large bar on a cookie sheet and cut into "granola bars" after cooking and completely cooling.
