Oatmeal Protein Bites

Life is busy and sometimes you just need something easy! These oatmeal protein bites take about 5 minutes to make and provide an on-the-go option for busy mornings or as a post-workout snack as your leaving the gym.


The recipe is flexible and ingredients can be substitued for any of your favorites. Try chopped dried fruit in place of chocolate chips. You could also try ground flaxseed or protein powder in place of chia seeds! The options are endless.

Ingredients: 2 cups Old Fashioned Oats. 1/2 cup Peanut Butter 1/2 cup Coconut, Shredded 1/3 cup Chocolate Chips

1/4 cup Agave 5 1 Tbsp Chia Seeds 1 tsp Vanilla


Directions:

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Microwave mixture for 30 seconds to soften chocolate and help mixture stick together. Form small round bites, recipe should make roughly 18. Serving size is four. Recipe provides 4-5 servings. Store in refrigerator.
